After months of building, licensing, staffing, and shaping every detail of this program, we’re ready for the work we came here to do: helping men forge strength, build recovery, and restore their lives.
What We’ve Built
Tidal Forge Recovery is a men’s-only detox and residential treatment program inside a private six-bedroom home in Huntington Beach — minutes from the beach, licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (License No. 300840AP), and deliberately small. No back rows. No case numbers. Every man is known by name, story, and treatment plan by his first dinner in the house. The Program, Front to Back
Medically supervised detox
Recovery starts with getting safe. Our detox program provides 24-hour clinical support and monitoring, physician-directed comfort medications, and substance-specific protocols for alcohol, opioids and fentanyl, benzodiazepines, stimulants, and more — all in a real bedroom, not a hospital ward. Residential treatment
After detox, the rebuilding begins — same house, same team, zero lost momentum. Structured days built around individual therapy, men-only group work, movement, and the beach-centered routine that gives this program its name. Clinical care: evidence-based, 12-step grounded
Our clinical program is AA and 12-step based, pairing that foundation with the therapies research supports most: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR for trauma — delivered by a licensed clinical team led by our Clinical Director and overseen by our Medical Director, a board-certified psychiatrist with more than four decades in addiction medicine. Holistic services
Recovery has to reach the whole man — body and nervous system included. Residents have access to breath work, yoga, Reiki, sound baths, and personal gym time as part of the weekly schedule. These aren’t spa perks; they’re practical tools for the anxiety, sleep, and stress-regulation work early sobriety demands.
Family programming
Addiction is a family disease, so families are built into the program: family groups on weekends, family outings, and Al-Anon-style groups just for family members — a place for the people who love him to heal, learn boundaries, and rebuild trust alongside his treatment.
Community and brotherhood
The heart of Tidal Forge is a community of like-minded men — a brotherhood for sobriety to lean on, in the house and long after it. Six men, one roof, doing the hardest thing they’ve ever done at the same time. That bond is the part of treatment no one can prescribe.
