Who We Are
Tidal Forge Recovery is a men’s-only substance abuse treatment program inside a private six-bedroom home in Huntington Beach, California — minutes from the ocean and licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (License No. 300840AP). We built this program around one conviction: men recover differently, and they deserve a program designed for how they actually heal — with structure, honesty, hard work, and brotherhood. What We Do
Medically supervised detox
Recovery starts with getting safe. Our detox program provides 24-hour clinical support, physician-directed comfort medications, and substance-specific protocols for alcohol, opioids and fentanyl, benzodiazepines, stimulants, kratom and 7-OH, and more — in a real bedroom, not a hospital ward. Residential treatment
When detox ends, residential treatment begins the same day — same house, same team, zero lost momentum. Structured days built around individual therapy, men-only group work, movement, and a beach-centered routine that teaches the most underrated skill in recovery: how to live an ordinary day sober and like it.
Evidence-based clinical care, 12-step grounded
Our clinical program pairs an AA and 12-step foundation with the therapies research supports most — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and EMDR for trauma — alongside psychiatric care and medication management for co-occurring depression, anxiety, and other mental health conditions.
Holistic services

Addiction is a family disease, so families are part of the program: family groups on weekends, family outings, and Al-Anon-style support groups just for the people who love him — a place to heal, learn boundaries, and rebuild trust alongside his treatment.
